Honoring Seattle’s Volunteers at the 2026 Denny Awards

Join Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) as we celebrate the incredible volunteers who help our parks, green spaces, and community centers thrive!

The 2026 Denny Awards for Outstanding Volunteer Stewardship recognize the dedication, generosity, and lasting contributions of volunteers who make a difference in communities across Seattle.

Come be part of a welcoming, inspiring celebration as we recognize their extraordinary impact and continue the legacy of David T. and Louisa Denny, whose generosity helped spark Seattle’s very first park.

We’re looking forward to an evening of celebration, appreciation, and connection as we recognize the individuals and groups whose time and efforts help make Seattle’s parks and recreation programs so special. We’d love for you to join us in celebrating the very heart of the community, our amazing volunteers!
